The house will hold seven participants: 3 rooms have 2 twin beds and one has a double bed. Staying for a week in one of these rooms will cost $250. If you want to bring your family or stay somewhere else there are a number of options on the Cape. The dates for the retreats are for the most part off season. Sandy Franconi has a place 2 miles from mine. Her house is quaint, unique and holds 5 people (3 singles and 1 double). It rents for $1150 a week. Call her at 508 246-1863. Check online for cottages, airbnb and a site called "I need a vacation."
You can fly into Boston Logan airport and get a bus from there to Barnstable on Cape Cod. The bus ride is usually around 1 3/4 hours. Let me know ahead of time and someone will pick you up. Both the Plymouth Brockton and Peter Pan buses come from the airport to Barnstable. Tickets need to be purchased online ahead of time.
You can rent a car at the airport or drive from home. A car gives you more flexibility once you are here.
The retreats are being held at 108 Susan Lane, Brewster, MA 0263, a beautiful post and beam home. There is a path down to School House pond where there is a kayak. There is also a hot tub and outdoor fire circle. The house has 1 full bath room, one 1 half bath room. Typical of Cape Cod there are two outdoor showers right next to the house. The house is mid-Cape, located 5 minutes from beautiful Cape Cod bay beaches and 20 minutes from Atlantic Ocean beaches. There are a multitude of woodland trails that often lead to fresh water ponds.
These guided retreats provide and opportunity to move out of the ordinary into an awareness of a deep inner heart-centered spaciousness and peace. Discover the untouched, unexplored crevices of your being, aspects of yourself hidden by normal routines and daily distractions. What is that part of you that longs to stretch your wings and fly free? Perhaps there's a belly laugh, a creative impulse, a moment of clarity, a voice from the divine (infinite) that reveals itself.
Can you give yourself permission to play, to embrace joy and be fully present in this moment? A safe space supports the blossoming of inner awareness within a circle of companion explorers. By partnering with Breath, Heart, Earth, the Heavens and the natural beauty of Cape Cod, you can strengthen your inner vision and be empowered to be who you really are safely with others.
